An Essential Service

Flying above the East’s last frontier Life Flight makes available the medical skill and equipment necessary to care for the most seriously ill and injured patients in the region.  These patients are flown from accident scenes and community hospitals to appropriate specialty care centers. 

Assisting with this mission is an impressive group of highly skilled, nationally certified air medical professionals, who selflessly bring their critical care expertise and experience to patients across northern New York in their most desperate times of need.  Covering a territory that spans from the Lake Champlain to Lake Ontario and from the Canadian border to south of the Adirondack Park, this impressive crew stands ready to respond at a moment’s notice.  You may not see them as they fly overhead, but their impact is felt from one end of this territory to the other.
